Getting prepared can seen like a huge undertaking but
a few simple survival tips can make it less stressful.
We are here to share a few pointers. The worst thing
you can do is nothing. Anything you can do now will
make life easier later. Even if the economy doesn’t take
a nose dive you will still be better prepared for emergencies. We contunue to comb through books and the internet and asking friends for useful information. Of everything we've done for ourselves to prepare I think the easiest and most important is stock up on beans and cornmeal and/or dried corn(from the feed store). These 2 items will get you through a long long time without much else. You can always add anything you can find, such as ham hocks, squash, seasoning, etc.
With oil prices going up and down, alcohol production should be seriously considered, you can run your car on it with slight modification and also fuel your home. Alcohol is what was used before oil took over so its not nearly as far fetched as some naysayers would have you believe. Alcohol Can Be A Gas is the best book I have read on the subject. Its is well written and shows several ways to produce alcohol, and not just from corn. There are better crops to use than corn and the book goes into that too. We highly recomend this book. It is well worth the investment! We go out of our way to make customers happy. You don’t
have to take our word for it you can check out our feedback on ebay if you like. CheckGaetz2006, that’s a 100% positive rating. We are proud of that and aim to keep it that way. I try to keep shipping and handling to a minimum and never price gouge.
